Is the AI flashcard maker free?

What can I make flashcards from?

Paste your notes, a textbook section, the text of lecture slides or an article, or choose a PDF: its text is read in your browser. A scanned PDF has no text to read, so turn it into text first with the PDF to Word converter.

Will the questions give the answers away?

No. Each card asks a real question: a term by its name, a theorem by its name, a formula to write down, a method to explain. A check rewrites any card whose question shows its own answer.

Does it handle maths and formulas?

Yes. Formulas are written in LaTeX and typeset on the cards, and they stay as maths when you export to Anki.

Can I put the cards in Anki or Quizlet?

Yes. Download the Anki file and import it in Anki (File, Import); the maths shows with Anki's own maths support. For Quizlet, copy the cards and paste them into Quizlet's import box, which uses a tab between term and definition.

What happens to my text?

It is sent to our AI provider only to make your cards and is not stored with any account. The cards stay in this browser until you make new ones. Our Privacy Policy explains the short technical logs we keep.
