Subprocessors
Last updated: 28 June 2026
To run LatexNotes we rely on a small number of third-party services that process data on our behalf. These are our subprocessors. We keep the list short and only use a provider where it is needed to deliver the Service. This page complements our Privacy policy.
| Provider | What they do for us | Data they process |
|---|
| Google | Transcribes your note pages into LaTeX (Gemini API); optional Google sign-in. | The page images you upload. For Google sign-in, the email address and name on your Google account. |
|---|
| Supabase | The database for accounts and saved notes. | Your email, a securely hashed password, and the notes you save (original PDF, LaTeX and output PDF), plus usage records tied to your account id. |
|---|
| Render | Hosts the backend that runs transcription and compiles LaTeX to PDF. | Your pages while they are being transcribed and compiled. |
|---|
| Vercel | Hosts the website and provides anonymous, privacy-friendly analytics. | Page-view and visitor counts. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking. |
|---|
| Cloudflare | Bot protection (Turnstile) on sign-up and the free trial. | A browser challenge signal and your IP address, used only to tell humans from bots. |
|---|
| Resend | Sends transactional email. Only when an email is sent to you, such as a password reset. | Your email address and the message (for example a password-reset link). |
|---|
| Lemon Squeezy | Payment processing as Merchant of Record. Only if you subscribe to Pro. | Your billing details, handled entirely on their hosted checkout. Card data never touches LatexNotes. |
|---|
International transfers
These providers are based in the United States, so running the Service may involve processing your data there and in other countries. Each handles data under its own terms and appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Changes to this list
As LatexNotes grows we may add or change a subprocessor. When we do, we will update this page. For questions, or to raise a concern, use the Support page.
